Responsibilities

The Choice+ Mammography Tech is an experienced Tech who all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms.

Mammography Techs in the Choice+ Program agree to work in assigned departments for assigned shifts (weekend days or weekend nights) in their assigned coverage zones (Atlanta, Forsyth, Cherokee, Lawrenceville, Duluth) as outlined in this agreement.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

1.         Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

2.         Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T. (R) (M) (ARRT).

3.         Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.

By working on a Choice+ Assignment, I agree to the following:

REQUIREMENTS

  1. A current nursing license will be kept on file.
  2. Applicants must have at least one (1) year of current experience in the clinical areas in which they will be working.
  3. Applicants must have a physical examination and be currently certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
