Stays current and monitors changes in government and private payor quality requirements affecting payment and/ or data that is publically reported. Forecasts incentive and penalty payments based on quality outcomes. Advises clinical and quality teams on issues related to quality improvement and value based care initiatives. Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices affecting value based initiatives, and patient care across the continuum.
REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or related field.
2. Three (3) plus years of demonstrated experience in strategic initiative project management in a complex, multi facility environment.
3. 2 or more years of experience in managing performance improvement activities, including analyzing clinical workflow processes.
4. Knowledgeable of relevant national quality, patient safety and regulatory initiatives and ability to address these at a local level.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of health system operations.
6. Excellent communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.
7. Strong analytical and organization skills.
8. Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and meet required deadlines.
9. Strong knowledge of clinical care processes across all clinical disciplines in the continuum of care and demonstrated expertise in the application of clinical technology to these processes.
