Responsibilities

Coordinates technical efforts for the prostate implant program from a radiation physics and radiation safety perspective. Responsible for ordering and maintaining radioactive seed inventory for procedures performed at Northside Hospital, Meridian Mark, and other Northside Hospital facilities. Supervises or trains personnel to perform physics and radiation safety duties in the operating room. Educates staff in the proper handling of radioactive material. Performs quality assurance and management for the prostate implant program.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
1. Experience as Certified Medical Dosimetrist: 2 (two) years

OR a. Experience as Radiation Therapist: 3 (three) years

2. Demonstrates advanced leadership skills.

3. Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
