Practice Details 

 

Perimeter North Medical Associates was founded in 1995 at our Atlanta location, and has steadily grown over the years to better serve the expanding communities throughout North Atlanta.

 

Our physicians and nurse practitioners are registered nurses who have earned a Master's Degree in Nursing. They are board-certified in Family Medicine, allowing them to diagnose and treat patients of all ages. Our providers work as a team to provide the very best medical care, and take pride in the good health of our patients. We value the importance of empowering our patients as partners in their own health, and provide practical measures and educational resources to help them maintain optimal health.

Responsibilities

Coordinates care and services for patients in active treatment for their diagnoses. Serves as liaison between physician practice(s) and Northside Hospital infusion centers and inpatient departments. Provides care and/or services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

  1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  2. Three (3) years experience in nursing with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
  3. Demonstrated ability to set priorities and make appropriate clinical and supervisory decisions.  Must possess good problem solving skills.
  4. Certified in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), body mechanics, and safety education.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

  1. One (1) year demonstrated management skills
  2. BSN in nursing.
  3. National certification in specialty.
