Responsibilities

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Floats to various offices as assigned to assist physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician. Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

Floating position that offers the opportunity to travel to different physician practices within the Northside Network. This is a great way to gain experience in different specialties and GROW! Please be comfortable floating within 30 miles of Sandy Springs.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

 

  1. 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  2. Current BLS card (CPR).
  3. Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position if such duties are related to lab duties.
  4. If employed at North Georgia Diagnostic Clinic, RMA or CMA must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

 

PREFERRED

  1. Certified as Medical Assistant.
