Come and discover our 2 new Medical/Surgical Units on the Lawrenceville Campus!
These are Inpatients units, each with 24 beds of Medical/Surgical patients.
We have telemetry, that allows us to treat all medical patients to include pulmonary, respiratory and cardiac patient populations. We also see patients with minor surgeries.
We are a free standing building outside of the hospital and have our own RRT nurse, respiratory therapist, lab, and resident physicians.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Bone Marrow Transplant | · Obtains ACLS certification within one year of employment |
Critical Care | · Obtains ACLS certification within one year of employment |
Emergency Department | · Maintains certification in ACLS |
Gastro-Intestinal Lab | · Maintains certification in ACLS -for registered nurses performing moderate sedation. |
Neurosciences | · Maintains ACLS certification for Neurovascular Intermediate patient care required · Completion of Critical Care and Basic Arrhythmia course preferred |
Special Care Nurseries | · Certified as Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) |
Surgical Services | Operating Room · Prior Operating Room experience or completion of a course in Operating Room nursing preferred. PACU · Prior PACU or ICU experience or completion of a course in Post-Anesthesia Care nursing preferred All AREAS · ACLS preferred |
