Medical Assistant - Northside Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Practice

We specialize in treating patients with lung related problems (pulmonary medicine), sleep disorders (sleep medicine) and the critically ill such as those in the ICU (Critical Care medicine). Our physicians are board certified in these specialities.

Our focus is not just in treating the immediate problem, but, in collaboration with your primary physician, working with you to ensure long term good pulmonary & sleep health and in assisting you make the right healthy choices in life.

Our main clinic is located in Northside Forsyth Hospital in Cumming. We have satellite clinics in Dawsonville and Buford/Sugar Hill.

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.  Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting.  Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.  Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

REQUIRED

1. 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
3. Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.
4. If employed at North Georgia Diagnostic Clinic, RMA or CMA must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

PREFERRED

1. Certified as Medical Assistant.
