Cardiac Sonographer (Full-time, evening)

Performs 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography in the adult and geriatric patient population. Must be able to assist the cardiologist in transesophageal echo and perform stress echo procedures. Will be responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac ultrasound in accordance with IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission).

Hours: M-F 3p-11:30p

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Registered as diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through RDCS or Cardiovascular credentialing International CCI.

5 years’ experience in a hospital setting Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (BCLS) Intermediate Computer Skills

Knowledge of methods, techniques, and operating principles involved in the operation of various ultrasound equipment

Ability to perform with proficiency the skills and procedures designated

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology Registered or registry eligible Vascular Technologist with 2 years vascular related experience.
