CPR Education Instructor I

Provides instruction to new and expectant parents on a variety of perinatal health issues. The Education Instructor has advanced training and skill in the area of Maternal-Child and/or education. Works with women of child- bearing ages.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1. Two (2) years of prior clinical and/or adult education experience.
2. Certified to perform CPR by either American Heart Association or Medic First Aid, or must become certified within probationary period.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

1. S. or B.A. degree in Education, related health field, or a national certification in area of expertise

1. Two (2) years of experience in a position with demonstrated critical thinking, customer service, interpersonal and verbal communication skills

3. Demonstrated knowledge in the use of audiovisual equipment.
4. Certified as an American Heart Association and/or Medic First Aid BLS instructor, or must become certified within probationary period if teaching CPR
