Responsibilities

This role is for our Accounts Receivable department in Physician Billing. Revenue Cycle Coordinator will oversees all aspects of the revenue cycle from charge capture to account resolution for assigned client practices. Responsible for all staff and/or supervisors assigned to client teams under his or her supervision. Has strong working knowledge of the revenue cycle and coordinates a wide range of administrative duties involved in the resolution of client accounts receivable. Able to proactively identify issues and effectively problem solve as issues arise. Effectively communicates policies, procedures and processes to internal staff as well as administrators, physicians, and other individuals within client practices they oversee. Abides by and promotes HIPAA compliance at all times.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  1. Bachelors Degree with 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare billing environment or 4 years healthcare billing experience with an additional minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare billing environment
  2. Extensive knowledge of billing and reimbursement systems
  3. Good written and oral communication skills

PREFERRED:

  1. Bachelors Degree
  2. Experience with Centricity
  3. Physician Practice Management experience
  4. Knowledge of billing operations, government regulations and insurance provisions
