The Coordinator of Invasive Cardiology Services oversees the clinical practice and patient care delivery, as well as has 24-hour accountability, authority and responsibility of the operations of assigned units. Duties include management of human, fiscal and material resources and implementation of policies, procedures, standards and regulations. Areas of responsibility include all invasive cardiac services including, but not limited to, cardiac cath, EP, and Admission/Recovery. The Coordinator provides care to an adult and geriatric patient population and is expected to take STEMI call with the call team on a regular basis.
REQUIRED:
1. Must have valid Georgia Nursing License
2. Minimum of four (4) years recent experience in an interventional cardiac cath lab
3. Previous management/leadership experience in Nursing
4. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
5. Prior experience with general vascular, coronary angiography, and electrophysiology.
6. Thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation.
7. Must take emergent coronary interventional call (PCI & STEMI) with a 30 minute arrival time.
