Practice Details 

 

Perimeter North Medical Associates was founded in 1995 at our Atlanta location, and has steadily grown over the years to better serve the expanding communities throughout North Atlanta.

Our physicians and nurse practitioners are registered nurses who have earned a Master's Degree in Nursing. They are board-certified in Family Medicine, allowing them to diagnose and treat patients of all ages. Our providers work as a team to provide the very best medical care, and take pride in the good health of our patients. We value the importance of empowering our patients as partners in their own health, and provide practical measures and educational resources to help them maintain optimal health.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.  Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting.  Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.  Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

 

  1. High School diploma or equivalent
  2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

 

  1. Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program or Graduate of a U.S. Military medic course.
  2. One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
  3. Other clinical specialty certifications may be preferred in specific units.
  4. Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

8AM-4:30PM
