Responsibilities

The compensation analyst studies and analyzes external market data and assists in preparing job descriptions. Participates in various compensation surveys.   Assists in the administration of various compensation programs. Assists with various audits within the department. Assists Sr. Compensation Analyst on various projects.   Position is characterized by the ability to prioritize and organize multiple assignments and projects.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Compiles reports and statistical data where information is extracted from multiple sources. Assignments of this nature require significant computation, analysis and research of associated files, documents and operating procedures.
  2. Participates in salary surveys.
  3. Administers base pay programs to support business needs and objectives. Assists with reviews of equity.
  4. Provides guidance and interpretation of compensation policies/programs, evaluates changes and requests for updates.
  5. Prepares, updates, and maintains job descriptions.
  6. Assists in the administration of annual performance appraisal process and merit program.
  7. Assists with special projects.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  1. Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related fields.
  2. One year experience in a Compensation or Human Resources role.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Analytical skills with ability to synthesize data and propose recommendations.
  5. Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  6. High attention to detail and accuracy, well organized.
  7. Ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects.
  8. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

 PREFERRED

  1. Prior healthcare experience.
