Oversees the daily shift operations of the Telemetry Department. Regularly performs the duties of a Monitor Technician/CVT as needed. Responsible for accurate record keeping, observation of monitors and prompt reporting of cardiac rhythm changes for the Telemetry Department during assigned shift.

REQUIRED

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 1-2 years’ experience as a Telemetry Monitor Tech or EKG Technician
3. BLS
4. Medical Terminology
5. Demonstrated competency in EKG/arrhythmia interpretation
6. Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT)

PREFERRED

1. Graduate from an accredited CVT program
