The Quality Improvement Nurse Practitioner will be an integral part of the Quality Improvement team, ensuring accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation, developing quality improvement initiatives, analyzing data, and implementing plans for process improvement. Works in collaboration with the medical staff and providers for the improvement for improvement opportunities. Performs history and physical examinations and carries out appropriate intervention/procedures as determined by the plan of care. Coordinates care of assigned patients according to Northside Hospital's established Standards of Care.

REQUIRED

1. Master’s Degree in Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse
2. 3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience
3. Please refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position.

 PREFERRED: 

1. Five (5) years of Nurse Practitioner experience in acute care and quality management.
2. Gerontology experience.
