As part of the health care team provides pharmaceutical care with an emphasis in the designated specialty care area.  Assumes administrative role and responsibility for all systems and procedures in a specific pharmacy satellite and designated practice area.  Coordinates work flow and supervises satellite activities and personnel.  Serves all patients including, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

IV Room Coordinator

Will be responsible for all USP 797, USP 800, GDNA and all other regulatory requirements, including SOPs, hospital policies, standards of practice for all sterile compounding areas at Northside Hospital Gwinnett and Duluth. This includes oversight of compounding in the Main and OR pharmacies in Gwinnett and Duluth, Gwinnett Inpatient Annex, Gwinnett Women's Pavilion, Gwinnett Outpatient Surgery, Gwinnett ICU Satellite. Will work with system counterparts to establish policies and procedures regarding sterile compounding.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
2. Three (3) years Pharmacy experience.
3. One (1) year experience in the specialty care area (example: hospital, retail, infusion center, oncology, critical care, etc).

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year lead or supervisory experience.
2. Pharm.D. or Masters level degree.
3. Member of a professional hospital organization.
