The Support Technician will be responsible for performing housekeeping and patient transporter duties. Housekeeping services include cleaning restricted and unrestricted areas. Patient Transporter duties involve movement of equipment, supplies, specimens, and occasionally patients. Provides care and/or service to surgery neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients undergoing surgical intervention and to women of child bearing age in Perinatal.

REQUIRED

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Less than 12 months experience as a Support Technician.
3. Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) (SPD exempt).

PREFERRED

1. One year of experience in a surgical services or other hospital clinical department.
