About the Role:

As the Coordinator of Operating Budgets & Reporting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of Northside Hospital. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and managing annual operating budgets for all hospital facilities and departments.
• Analyzing and reporting on financial variances to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Overseeing the financial accountability process and ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
• Managing the contingency budget, travel and education budget, and maintenance and repair budget.
• Providing training and support on the hospital's budget system (Axiom).
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervising and mentoring a team of financial professionals.
• Conducting ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in finance with budgeting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with budget systems, such as Axiom, is preferred.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.
