REQUIRED

1.  High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Two (2) years’ experience as Health Information Management Abstractor or Health Data Analyst or related field or Associates Degree in Health Related field.
3. National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) accredited degree or certification program in Cancer Registry Management must be completed within two (2) years of hire date
4. Experience using computer data base systems.
5. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

PREFERRED

1.  Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
2. S. degree in Health Sciences, Medical Records Administration, or related discipline.
3. Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and/or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
4. National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) accredited degree or certificate in Cancer Registry Management

Required: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Two (2) years experience as Medical Records Abstractor or Health Data Analyst. 3. Experience using computer data base systems. 4. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Preferred: 1. B.S. degree in Health Sciences, Medical Records Administration, or related discipline. 2. Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR), Registered Record Administrator (RRA) and/or Accredited Record Technician (ART).
