Responsibilities

Allied Health Instructor (Medical Assistant & Patient Care Tech) with clinical knowledge, skills and expertise in teaching a variety of instructor led classes, including clinical lab, front office, and science classes.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  1. Associate degree, or higher or Medical Assistant Diploma, and three years professional experience, or certification in allied health specialty. Additional experience in Medical Assisting and/or in a medical office environment.
  2. Licensed Medical Assistant.
  3. Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
  4. Certified as an American Heart Association BLS instructor, or must become certified within probationary period if teaching CPR.
  5. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in staff development or instructor role.
  6. Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  7. Effective analytical and organizational skill, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
  8. Demonstrates ability to educate others and serve as a positive change agent.
  9. Demonstrates knowledge in the use of audiovisual equipment.
  10. Prior clinical and adult education experience.
