Responsibilities

Assists the Managers and Directors of Radiology Services with the coordination of various aspects of capital planning projects.  Responsibilities include: coordinating project activities to achieve project timelines; communicating between users & construction teams on project details; assisting in selecting, procuring & coordinating the installation of capital equipment associated with capital projects; developing project budgets & cost tracking; assisting with the identification, documentation, & resolution of Radiology space needs, and completing other project tasks as required.  This individual is a self-starter, project-oriented, and is able to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

1. Minimum 5 years of responsible experience in project planning or healthcare

 

2. Bachelor’s degree in related field

 

3. Demonstrated knowledge of technical applications of project management & coordination

 

4. Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

5. Ability to work independently

 

6. Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

1. In depth knowledge of Radiology organizational structure and operations

 

2. Demonstrated knowledge of construction management and/or project coordination

 

3. Demonstrated knowledge of equipment selection and procurement processes
