Responsibilities

The Transplant/Leukemia Clinical Coordinator is a professional with working knowledge of hematologic malignancies, leukemia treatment, bone marrow/peripheral blood stem cell transplantation and related protocols and research. This professional is responsible for the coordination of all clinical activities relating to the Bone Marrow Transplant and Leukemia Program. Works with adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in an accredited program OR Associate's Degree in an accredited program with 2 (TWO) years experience.

2. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia

3. Current (per recommended renewal and/or expiration date) Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)

4. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to be highly motivated and work independently.

5. Excellent oral and written communications skills.

6. Demonstrated skills in use personal computer, including Excel and PowerPoint software

7. Previous experience in oncology, hematology and/or bone marrow transplant.

 

 

PREFERRED:
1. Three or more years with previous leukemia and or transplant experience.

2. Certified in oncology or transplant.

8:30am-5:00pm
