Responsible for coordination of the Radiology Department's Quality Improvement/CQI program including ACR, FDA regulatory agencies and other projects as assigned. Establishes and monitors compliance with Quality & Patient Safety regulations. Responsible for Northside's Radiology Information System (RIS) including exam updates, new department builds, printer configuration, and integrated testing. Develops and provides training to Radiology staff and Radiologists. Manages projects to implement new technology systems supporting Radiology operations.
REQUIRED:
1. Completion of a two year AMA approved course in Radiologic Technology. 2. Good written and oral communication skills. 3. Four (4) years experience in Radiology. 4. Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Improvement programs, education and techniques for radiology.
PREFERRED:
1. Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree in business, radiology, or education. 2. Knowledge of computer systems/RIS. Previous experience using Microsoft Excel. 3. Two (2) years experience in facilitating a Quality Improvement program.
