Responsible for planning, coordinating, administration, control, quality improvement, and management of daily construction activities of the Facilities Services Department.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1. Four (4) year Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, a related field and/or a Master’s in Business Administration
2. Seven (7) years’ experience in Healthcare Construction, of which four (4) years must be in a supervisory capacity.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

1. Computer experience to include some experience with CAD, Bluebeam, scheduling software
2. CHFM preferred but not required
3. Solid grasp on understanding operational functions of a hospital
4. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and understand construction estimating, scheduling, permitting, and closeout procedures.
5. Knowledge of NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and NFPA 99 Healthcare Code.
6. Familiar with JCAHO Statement of Conditions and Environment of Care Standards
7. Knowledge of Infection Control processes and how to implement
