At Urology Specialists of Atlanta, we strive to deliver the highest quality urologic care to men and women. Our practice is based around the idea of bringing together highly trained physicians to create an academic environment in a private practice setting.

 

We are forward thinking and utilize the most up to date medical advancements that have been proven to increase cure rates, while reducing patient discomfort and recovery time. We utilize minimally invasive procedures when indicated; with fellowship-trained physicians performing advanced urologic procedures including robotic-assisted surgery and complex female pelvic floor reconstruction.

Responsibilities

Manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the appropriate division. Nurses at Northside are professionals committed to patients/families and all members of the Healthcare team. Our nursing practice reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

  • BSN degree
  • Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
  • Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
