Assists with development, management, and coordination of requests for Pathology and Clinical Laboratory support of research protocols, clinical trials, and education for medical staff and/or other appropriate affiliations.  Arranges and/or coordinates laboratory testing, logistics of specimens and materials, and business arrangements.

REQUIRED

1. Five (5) years of experience as a Medical Technologist or higher level laboratory position OR  Master’s degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution with one (1) year of Medical Technologist or higher level experience.
2. General computer skills.
3. Demonstrated skill in coordination of projects and contract negotiations.
4. Ability to understand, analyze, and teach complex protocols and medical laboratory processes.

PREFERRED

1. Billing and billing resolution skills.
2. Knowledge of CPT coding and applicable regulations.
