Responsibilities

Performs a wide range of operational and analytical duties to assist with the planning, management, and coordination of the Patient Care/Sur23gical Services Divisions’ Operational, Clinical, Quality, and Educational initiatives. 

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or Healthcare related field.
  2. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, exercise independent judgement and maintain confidentiality.
  3. Demonstrated problem solving, organizational, technical, analytical, and decision making abilities.
  4. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Proficient in the use and application of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  6. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  7. Ability to work effectively with others as a team, communicate effectively, and maintain courteous and professional demeanor and attitude at all times under stressful conditions.

Value Based Clinical Care

  1. Provides operational support to Physician Quality Contracting Specialists.
  2. Updates folders for new providers
  3. Updates annual score cards for each contract
  4. Emails score cards to designated individuals monthly for each contract
  5. Maintain productivity spreadsheets for capturing workload and provider metrics
  6. Oversee eTime for department
  7. Assist with development of presentations
  8. Assist with minute taking for VBCC MIPs Oversight Committee, Staff Meeting, WIGs

PREFERRED:

  1. Prior Human Resources and/or Operations experience.
  2. Prior project / system implementation experience.
