Responsibilities

Coordinates system-wide marketing activities for assigned service line(s). Responsibilities include collaborating with service line leaders to promote hospital initiatives and comprehensive services. Coordinates and executes strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives, as well as providing feedback on physician and community needs by establishing and maintaining relationships. Responsible for developing and growing effective relationships between the hospital and all its departments and programs with physicians and the community.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Serves as a point person for strategic departments and service lines.

2. Develops collateral in conjunction with marketing manager and service line director for key programs and utilizes collateral to communicate programs and initiatives. Helps determine appropriateness of collateral content and format for external hospital communications.

3. Develops plans and strategies using targeted goals during set timeframes and annually to achieve improvement in target areas.

4. Identifies service gaps and works collaboratively with service line leaders to effectively manage and resolve.

5. Proactively monitors system-wide procedure capacity for improvement opportunities and facilitates improvement as needed.

6. Maintains catalog of all marketing materials utilized.

7. Performs special projects as requested in addition to assigned projects and assists with community outreach activities.

8. Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to Manager.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Healthcare or related field or 8-10 years of relevant marketing experience.
2. Minimum 5 years sales and marketing experience in healthcare environment.
3. Experience analyzing and evaluating effectiveness of marketing initiatives
4. Experience with data processing, spreadsheet and database programs.


KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:
1. Experience developing marketing programs to meet objectives of strategic initiatives.
2. Demonstrated ability to independently perform market research to identify marketing opportunities.
3. Experience collaborating with stakeholders to develop collateral on products/services.

4. Knowledge of tools to communicate and share information with service line leaders and administration (marketing calendars, centralized way to view and collect strategic information with internal stakeholders, etc.)
