Responsible for communications between the nursing units and the Food Service Department in regard to patient menus, diet changes, and general patient services. Reads the patient menus to patients twice daily. Edits patient selections to meet restrictions associated with diet orders. Organizes and manages diet orders in a timely and effective manner. Develops menu tallies of special requests. Must be familiar with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction. Reacts accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficiency. Assembles trays for patients and deliver meal trays to patient rooms and nursing units....

Provides oversight of the operations of the Central Monitoring Unit to include resolution of concerns related to human resources, telemetry capacity, scheduling issues, and equipment functionality. Works closely and serves as a communication liaison with all departments that provide telemetry monitoring. Responsible for the departmental processes that support accurate record keeping, observation of telemetry monitors, and prompt identification and escalation of cardiac rhythm changes to appropriate nursing personnel. May perform the duties of a Monitor Technician as needed. In the absence of the manager, may assume 24-hour responsibility for the department.
